Cottonmouth (Water Moccasin) description, Pictures, venom. The Cottonmouth snake is related to the copperhead but more dangerous.
I would personally consider the Western Cottonmouth the most dangerous snake in our area due to its tenacious behavior, large size and venom characteristics.
